Personal Training Account (CPF)

Employees, job seekers and holders of personal training credits

The Personal Training Account (CPF) is a tool put in place by the State to allow all workers to finance their training thanks to a "kitty" that is in an individual account.

If the amount of the fund does not cover the entire cost of the training, it is possible to supplement it with other means of financing.

Benefits:

With a personal CPF, you have the freedom to choose how to use it.
It is also possible to combine other sources of funding for the desired training.
The training can be taken full-time or in parallel with your professional activity.

Individual training assistance (AIF)

Job seeker

If you are considering training to help you get back to work, but cannot afford to pay for it, you may be able to get help through Pôle emploi's Aide individuelle à la formation (AIF).

Benefits:

The training can be 100% financed
You start your training immediately after the validation of your project. There is no start date

Co-financing with your CPF and your employer

Employee

If you do not have enough credits on your CPF to finance the training of your choice, you should know that it is possible to request co-financing from your employer. This consists of a matching contribution that can allow you to pay for all or part of the training.

How to do it:

Choose the training of your choice on your CPF
Download the PDF file of my selected training (do not click on "send my file" to the training organization)
I discuss this with my employer by providing him with the PDF document to inform him of my request for co-funding.
My employer allocates my rights directly online on the site financeurs.moncompteformation.gouv.fr
I use my new rights to finance my training and register for the session.
